"Hello! I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you today how to survive a big family Thanksgiving. Next step in surviving a big family Thanksgiving, don't avoid it, is dealing with transportation logistics. How are people going to get there? There are tons of tips and strategies on how to travel at the holiday. I'm not going to go into all that, but what I am going to say is be aware of how people are getting to your Thanksgiving table, or beware of how you're going to get there if you're the one who's traveling. If this big pumpkin s the Thanksgiving table destination, who's getting where and how? Say if these are the two big locations. This is one city in the Midwest and these are two cities in the east coast. One person there, they're taking the railroad to you. Another person that's close enough, they're going to drive and brave holiday road traffic. The last person coming from furthest away, they're going to fly to your Thanksgiving table. The important thing to keep in mind is how are people are going to get there. Make sure that they can get there, because this is where a lot of the stress comes in. Oh my goodness, old cousin Patrick is at the airport and he doesn't have a way to get here because he didn't think that they don't have taxi service there after certain hours or he didn't rent a car or he didn't even tell you he was coming until the day of. These are the things that you can deal with it in advance to avoid stress. To avoid you saying oh my goodness, somebody else watch the turkey, I have to go pick somebody up. Keeping all these things in mind of how person's A-Z are getting to your table or how you're going to get there is going to avoid a lot of stress. It's going to take that stress level down. It's going to be making getting through Thanksgiving a lot more pleasant."
