Understanding Your Role in Thanksgiving

"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to survive a big family Thanksgiving. Next step now your role, what do I mean by this? What I mean is what do you expect to do in Thanksgiving? What is your part going to play in the big Thanksgiving production going on? It could be you are just chilling out, you shown up you've been invited, nobody expects anything from you and it's a situation where you may not be able to help them much. So you know you have a nice role there; you are chilled, you are relaxed and sitting and watching some football and you go to dinner, you are thankful to be there with great people who are doing most of the work. Or you may be the center of attention, you may be the person who is on the hook to get the turkey on the table on time. Everyone is going to be looking to you at like the next or organization the next of planning going on from keeping everything you know, your Thanksgiving a day of going off on an even keel. So it's important to kind of know and you might think "well what are you talking about, come on I don't know if I'm actually going to be doing the turkey." Well odds are you probably will but there, may be other things that other folks that are thinking "oh, well they are going to take care of that", maybe you might not like that. Maybe you need to make sure you don't have too much that to much is not expected from you. So knowing your role can help you, basically plan out your day and more than that you can keep your expectations real for what Thanksgiving day has in store for you."
