"Hi, my name is Lanie Evans and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make a Valentine mailbox. The first thing you are going to want to do, is find a box you don't need anymore, a cereal box, a shoe box, or something that you are going to put in the recycle bin. Go ahead, and I've used some masking tape to reinforce the seals and the edges of the box. The next thing I am going to do is wrap this box in paper. I found some bags that I really liked the design on, so I'm going to use these. Okay, after you have your box wrapped, you can make a cut for the opening, for your cards to go into. You could cut it like this, but I'm going to use the side of the box actually. I'm going to insert the exacto knife, you want to make sure that your children are not doing this for you. Now that I made a hole I can insert the scissors and cut out a shape, or I can continue to use the exacto knife. That's your personal preference; I'm going to use the exacto knife to make it a little bit bigger. Okay, now I'm going to have the opening. I have all this paper that's coming up, so I'm going to use the tape and outline the edge of the box. You can use regular scotch tape, it will be clear. I'm going to use the masking tape for this purpose, so you can see, where I am going to tape it off at, and then tape down the edges. I'm just going to tape down the hole. Then you can decorate it in any way you'd like to. You can add other hearts; you can put your child's name on here. The options are limitless. You can add foam hearts. I'm going to leave it simple and let you decide how you can make this creative. Now you're ready to insert the cards."
