"Hi my name is Lanie Evans and on behalf of Expert village I'm here to show you how to make some Valentine crafts. Were going to make some roses. Some tissue paper roses actually. Take a look at what were going to need today. We're going to need some tissue paper, some scissors to cut it if you need to, and also some green pipe cleaners. Take your tissue paper, you want a thick stack actually, several layers of color I like to very it change out the color inside so that it gives it a little more dimension to the flower. Once you have a rectangle cut you?re going to fold it in a fan like motion, until you've done the whole thing. So basically you have this kind of look. You're going to leave it together. Fold it in the middle. Take your green pipe cleaner and you're going to, almost like a bow you're going to twist it here, and twist all the way down. If you wanted you can add a thorn or a leaf. I'm going to go ahead and add some leaves by adding a second pipe cleaner. So there's my stem. Now to make the flower you?re going to separate the fan and pull up each piece one by one. These flower are also really great to use for fiesta celebrations. These are usually popular decorations for Cinco de Mayo, and then do the same thing on the other side and then your done."
