"Hi! My name is Leslie Mosselle and I'm Tony Ramirez, and we're from Tampa Bay. On behalf of Expert Village, this is how to decorate a Christmas tree. Setting up your tree. Whether you have a fake one like I have here, or a non-traditional tree as we'll say. What you're going to want to do is you're going to want to open up your box and pull out all the main stuff that you're going to use to build your tree. If you do purchase a real tree, of course, make sure that you have a watering dish that you're going to have on the bottom, to keep your tree as fresh as possible and forbid a fire hazard as much as possible as well. In this case, the first thing we're going to do is we're actually going to set up the leg section. On this particular tree it actually just snaps together very simply. Just lock, lock, lock. Okay, maybe not that simple. Here we go. Lock and lock again. This is the base of our tree. After this, what we're going to do is we're going to plug up our actual stand that will house all the branches. Most trees that we'll snap together will be color coded. I have a brown stem right here. It's a little sticker. It tells us which order these branches are going to go in. Of course, the tree will be thicker on the bottom and skinnier on the top. A lot of modern non-traditional fake trees actually come in one or two pieces. You basically just put them on and they fall into place automatically. This one takes a little bit more effort, being color coded and all, but it's pretty much the same thing. It gives you a great effect. You make the branches as full as you want, and that's the basis of setting up your non-traditional fake tree. After that, we'll have this set up and start with the decorating."
