Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. The next step in carving your turkey is going to be to go ahead and remove the thighs. So to do this first off you want to cut the full piece of skin right here it kinds of holds it all together. That would make it easier for you to just pop it back and now all you have to do is kind of pop it back, pop them off of there joints. Again I want to make that popping noise I want to get that off the joint, I want to make it easier for me to cut. Right where that joint has been broken I'm going to turn around and cut this side off like so. This meat is just falling off the bone which is a really good sign. I'm going to do the same thing on the other side, I'm going to pop it back, pop it back like that, pop the joints out and I'm just going to cut it where the joint is. Now if you want to take it a step further you can see where the thigh bone is here and you can actually cut of with the drum stick is and again this meat is just falling of the bone it just comes right off on its own. I really didn't have to cut much. We got that one drumstick and of course the very flavorful meat here.
