"Hi, my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make an entire Thanksgiving meal. Now that we have mixed in our wet ingredients we have a nice whipped consistency we are going to go ahead and add in our dry ingredients. So I have 3/4 of a cup of packed light brown sugar and you want to make sure it is packed into your cup. I'm going to add in a pinch of cloves and cloves are very, very strong so you want to be very careful I'm just going to put just a pinched into the batter. Now I got some ginger and the great thing about this recipe is if you don't like ginger, you don't like cloves then don't worry about it, don't add it into your batter. You can also use all spice in this as well as apple pie spice as well as pumpkin spice that is commonly found in the grocery stores. I'm going to do a teaspoon of cinnamon. Oops a little extra in there and that is okay. I like cinnamon and the last thing I'm going to add a 1/4 teaspoon of iodize salt and I like to use iodize salt when I am baking verses Kosher salt because it tends to blend a little bit better. Salt actually brings out the flavors of your ingredients, it does not make it salty. From here we are just going to mix it nice and thoroughly. And it smells like pumpkin pie and that is how you prepare the filling. "
