"Hello is this Marie French with Expert Village. Now we're going to discuss some safety issues that there are always inherent in any sort of art or craft that you're working with, that there are safety issues. One is tin gets very sharp when cut, so PLEASE wear leather gloves and the leather gloves can be bought like I said before in hardware stores. They can be bought in grocery stores sometimes and also in garden supplies stores. So get yourself a good pair of leather gloves because they will work for you in many arts and crafts projects. Another thing I would like to mention is eye protection. When you're cutting or sanding or working with these items, you want to make sure that you have eye protection. Eye protection will keep the slivers of metal from going into your eyes or the sanding fibers going into your eyes. It's incredibly important that when you're doing any kind of work like this that you do wear eye protection. Another thing I mentioned was working with muriatic acid which is an acid that they clean pools with. Now this acid is highly toxic; WEAR RUBBER GLOVES. If you don't wear rubber gloves you can etch your skin, you can get all sorts of skin problems so wear rubber gloves when you're working with muriatic acid. With vinegar you're absolutely fine. If you want to wear latex gloves or rubber gloves, again supermarket, hardware stores, garden stores, it'll just keep the vinegar smell off. So anyway enjoy but be safe. "
