"Hello, this is Marie Frence with Expert Village. Now we are going to file our perfect tin punched Christmas ornament. Now let me suggest again, gloves, especially when we are sanding because again, you are going to have bits of tin coming off and it's very, very sharp. Again, you can get these at garden stores, hardware stores, sometimes even grocery stores. So go ahead, buy yourself a good pair of gloves. I personally love the leather because number one, it's easier to work with and it doesn't slip, the metal does not slip. So I take my ornament now, it's been punched and I have added a little string. But what you do is you just file up, file the side, file the other side, file all around. So you're trying to get the tin soft on both sides and also along the edge. Then what I like to do is actually file down my punched tin because it can be very, very sharp. So I will take the sanding and I will just sand it as I am pushing the sander away from the metal and I can see here that it is a lot softer so I will just keep going down because I want that tin to be softer. I want it to feel, so you don't get killed every time you pick your ornament. So there you go, now you have a nice soft tin ornament for your Christmas tree. "
