"Easter is inexorably linked to sweets. So some natural eggs to have in your Easter basket are candy eggs. Now these can range from your basic ones bought in the store, convenience store, tons of packs soon will start hitting the store in at least three weeks. Nowadays probably five weeks before Easter. Since Easter is one of those holidays that jumps around on different Sundays, you have to make sure and keep an eye out. But I have yet to hear about a store that is running out of Easter eggs, at least in regards to candy. So you can go that route. You can also go to specialty chocolate shops here which also have lots of wonderful, yummy tasty treats which are also in egg form. Now I can't mention sweets without mentioning sugar highs. You have kids? You have a lot of them? You have a lot of these? You have a sugar bomb waiting to explode into a blast of mayhem and temper tantrums. After they come down after the sugar high, they crash. So you can definitely make sure (just like you would around Halloween), making sure to moderate how many of those little chocolate eggs your kids are eating. I mean, maybe a couple of little ones, maybe one big one; you know they are not as big as we are. So definitely make sure you moderate the sugar intake. But chocolate eggs and the light cream filled eggs are wonderful add-ons for your Easter basket."
