Summary: Who needs Hallmark? Here are some tips on how to choose a doily color for your own Valentine's day cards with this free video clip.
"Now, we are going to go back to our doilies, and we basically going to select our doilies in which to frame our Valentines card. Now, here again we have another color choice before us, do we go with the red one or the white one. I choose the white one this is for a couple of reasons. First off it's a nice contrast you can see how the red stands out with the white, it's nice extra frame to kind of like add some pazzaz to your card. In addition, also the center of the card will in return will appear redder. Now, if you can see how things look over here in the the bright red doilies the interior of the card looks a little fader in comparison. The red looks to intense and what?s worse is that actually the red of the card now the central heart appears almost pink by contrast. So, it?s not really what we want to get going here. What's more the contrast is just isn't really there. It?s red like going into slightly kind of paler version of red; aka: light pink. So, we are going to go with our white doilies, now it is an option if you have a couple different doilies which are various of sizes you could always go with a white then have a red one around it. The only thing is that it has to make sure in be big enough to go outside. Right now these are the exact same sizes so this doesn't get you much."
