Summary: Learn how to create interesting edges for making paper snowflakes in this free Christmas crafts video.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm gonna show you today how to make some paper snowflakes. As you're near the out edges of your snowflakes, you're gonna want to keep things interesting. I mean, this one right here is kind of boring right now. It's straight' there are no articulation or gaps or nooks. So, lets spice it up. Lets put a series of little triangles right here. If you ever get a situation where it's almost cut but you don't want to go in there again with the blade you can always kind of twist out a little bit with your finger, just be gentle. Do a series of these triangles right here. Right up towards the edge. Makes it a lot more interesting than just that straight line you had going on. The triangles do not have to be all the same shape or size. It's no problem at all if they're not. They can actually be, I think it makes them more interesting if you have them be a little more different. You know it's again, it's a little more realistic not to have everything exactly the same. And then out the end here, cut off that end, we don't want to have like a boring mid tip down there. Now automatically you have like a much cooler much more interesting. If you are worried about it being too much more like, hey this looks like shark teeth, hey look at this, wallah "
