Summary: Learn how to add guidelines when making paper snowflakes in this free Christmas crafts video.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm gonna show you today how to make paper snowflakes. Some people will start cutting right away with their pair of scissors. But for others, you may actually want to consider taking a pencil and starting to kind of put in some like guide lines based on what we just talked about with the different sides of your paper triangle. So when you can do this, any type of pencil will do. You may want to erase your lines afterwards, so having an eraser is good. And also not etching through your piece of paper is also a good idea. Some very, very little light lines, just to basically provide you with a guide, a road map before you cut. So, what you can do is start on the inside of our snowflake, right here. And you know, some of the kind of things I like to do is you know to put some diamonds and squares. I mean things like that. Try to think if you know of more of like 90 degree angles and more crystal line structures because that's what snowflakes are. They're very very tiny ice crystals. So, I recommend doing is kind of having more of like a flowing lines of shapes. All along the inside here and you might even have a couple of them bent up around towards the top. "
