Summary: Learn how to use a ladder to put lights on a Christmas tree in this free holiday video.
"Hello, my name is Matt Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to hang Christmas tree lights. I already introduced the value that a ladder or stepping stool can bring to your Christmas tree lights hanging. Now we are really going to talk about when under what situation do you actually want to be able to use this. It really comes down to reaching. We don't want to reach too much, so once we get to start hanging the tree lights above your shoulder level that is when we are going to start to use a ladder or a stepping stool. I mean in this case this is a six and a half inch foot tree so if you are going above five feet odds are you might at least want to have one step and personally if you are going to go up to six feet, a two stepper is great. If you are going taller than that hey kudos to you for having a gigantic tree. Again you just want to basically want to be able to have your head height about the same height as the tree top. Because again we do not want to have lots of reaching cause reaching can result in very very bad things. You falling in and basically giving your tree unwanted very painful hug and also slamming into the wall spinning Christmas in the hospital. So don't reach, don't over stretch yourself especially when you start getting up on ladders. Move the ladder around, with the ladder you are not going to be able to step around as much so if you want to get to the back side of the tree or that over there, get down off your ladder move it around and get back on the ladder. It will definitely keep you from falling and your Christmas tree lights will look so much better if you don't have to reach tons."
