Summary: Learn how to create clearance for a Christmas tree away from the wall in this free holiday video.
"Hello, my name is Matt Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to hang Christmas tree lights. Now the next step is to make sure that you have adequate wall clearance behind your tree. This is going to be of critical importance to hang your Christmas tree lights cause if you can't get quite behind your tree that is going to make it very difficult. You are going to have to really be reaching around your tree to be able to get the lights around it. It is really great if you have the space to be able to go all the way back around your tree again because then you'll be able to very easily loop and keep the looping going on as you go from the bottom of your tree to the higher spots. Now I understand that the space maybe something that isn't always a choice. I grew up in a seven hundred fifty square foot house, I sympathize. But I tell you this if you can even get yourself a least a solid foot of clearance of whatever wall your tree is near and basically wherever it's going to have to go with your lights. It's going to make the Christmas tree light hanging much much more enjoyable. You are also not going to be bumping in and elbowing your tree. So keep that in mind I mean if anything to test it, see if you or maybe a little kid in the family, they are really helpful in the tighter spots I hear. They can at least get behind the tree to help get the Christmas tree lights up if anything happens to lights and come off or anything like that, it will also help you having more access rather than less."
