"Hello my name is Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to hang Christmas tree lights. So let's go everything we are going to need to be able to string Christmas lights up today. The first thing most obviously is a tree. Well this may seem insanely obvious Christmas lights are not for every tree I recommend you have a tree at least 3-4 feet tall right about that range. If it's smaller than that Christmas lights may actually overly dominate your tree. Even if you have a shorter strand that may be a tree where you just want to have some ornaments on it. So at least get a really a 4 feet tall or bigger like this tree, no problem. This is a 6-7 foot we are good, next you are going to want to have a stepping ladder. Now this is for a tree say access to 5 feet tall you're thinking goodness that is not so bad. Well be better safe than sorry every now again you do here people falling while stringing up Christmas lights both outdoors and indoors even with the tree. So have a 2 step ladder is a great thing to add, next you of course are going to want to have some lights. For Christmas lights there are tons of options at stores that are very inexpensive now a days. So I would recommend getting probably 2 packs of 30 feet or approximately one like strung out or say 6-7 foot tree. If you go down to like a 4 foot tree you can probably get away with which is one like strand of 30 feet but definitely get 2 if you have a larger tree. If you have a huge hall big trees you probably need 3 or 4 of these guys. Also cleaning supplies as we are going to cover by putting up Christmas tree lights you are going to get a lot of needles and a lot of tree stuff everywhere. Even if your tree is well hydrated so have something like a brush and a dust pan on hand as well as even perhaps a vacuum cleaner, it's also good for tree lighting. "
