"Hello, my name is Matt Cail on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm here to talk about spider web decorations. Alright, so let's build off our nice taut spider web strand here. The thing that a lot of people do is that this is where they stop. They've stretched from point A to point B and they leave it and they go on. That's not what you want to do, you want to keep on stretching because at best, it'll look like stretched out fabric, at worse it'll look just more like wadded up cotton on your wall and this is really easy to do. About midway through the web, look for an area which has a little clump of material that you can basically you can get purchase on. Take this material and then stretch perpendicularly away from the rest of the strand like this. Go about 1 to 1 1/2 feet, that should be adequate until you notice the strands are getting very, very thin. When you do this, then you're going to tape the end of the strand, the new end of the strand forming a triangle onto the wall. It doesn't have to be perfect and all of your material does not have to be used. This is the merely the first thing you're going to do, you're then going to start doing this again and again and again on the strands. So then this material here is still pretty thick, grab this material and then start stretching and then tape the end on wall again. Now you've formed an X, the shapes you form, there's no prescribed shapes to make, this is just what happened here. But then just keep looking for other wadded up material, then you can then pull and you're going to keep doing this until your first clump is largely strung out along the wall."
