"Hello my name is Tony Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village these are the optional uses of a PlayStation 3. Not just playing video games, this is a lot cooler. Alright importing video into your PlayStation 3. There?s several ways to do this one of the main ways of course is if you have a card reader in the front of your PlayStation you can actually save videos from your computer onto a memory card or save them onto an external drive. In this case I have a small external drive that's plugged into the front of my PlayStation 3 through USB. That's what?s showing up there it?s flashing, it says USB device, storage device. So what you would want to do, (cough) excuse me, is you'd go ahead and click it, select it and now here's the video that I want. This is batman dead end, this is a fan film that was made a few years ago. I want to import this from my memory card, from my hard drive onto the hard drive of the PlayStation 3. It's as simple as. It?s pressing the triangle button gives you your options and this is really simple, just like it says copy, you go ahead press copy, and it starts doing it automatically. This is actually really quick. The transfer rate is pretty fast onto the PlayStation 3 as you can see here. Yeah this is only about eight minutes long but you know it's zooming through pretty quickly. This is a great way of course to get video content that you either produce or stuff that you've you know collected off the net or things that you've compressed on your own. Once your video is done it'll end up in your playlist. Here we go a hundred percent completed copy. Go ahead and hit back, hit back again. And there it goes right on the top, says batman dead end. So all you do of course is press X and it'll start playing. Let's see what we've got here. I'll go ahead and do just a few seconds of this, but as you can see the movie starts playing right away. It's really simple, really easy to do, really fun of course if you want to watch videos on your big screen as fast as you want. These are some other videos that I've done. But this is the best way, one of the fastest ways to import video onto your PlayStation 3."
