"Hi, this is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today we're going to be making a variety of versatile Halloween centerpieces. We're going to make a centerpiece using a charger and three different sizes of votive candles. This is a centerpiece that's not too large and it isn't so tall that people cannot see each other and talk to each other over the centerpiece. First thing you're going to need is some kind of a flat plate, I like to use a charger, and you can get them at discount stores in a package of five for a dollar or five dollars for four. You will need either some floral block or a floral circle in order to secure your picks. You'll need your votives in three different sizes. It's always good to have threes, for some reason that's just very appealing. So, you'll need your votive holders, whether you make them yourself or you buy them, you'll need your votives to go in them. And then you'll want to have picks, either picks that you have already purchased from a fabric store or a craft store or picks that you have made, and then you'll also want a variety of fall leaves in different colors and shapes. Some sparkly, some not. Then the thing that will turn your centerpiece into a Halloween centerpiece from a fall centerpiece are using picks that are specifically Halloween picks, or other decorations that are specifically Halloween, and a few black leaves. What's wonderful about this centerpiece when you're finished is that you can take off the Halloween things and you have a fall centerpiece. You'll need either glue or a hot glue gun, and a pair of scissors, perhaps some 28 gauge wire, and you're set. You have all the supplies you need to make this centerpiece."
