"Hi, this is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts and today we're going to be making a variety of versatile Halloween centerpieces. Now we're going to make a Halloween bow to decorate our Halloween centerpieces. The easiest way to do this is to have your ribbon that already has the wire in it, but you don't have to use wired ribbon. You take your length of ribbon and your first piece you want to have as long as you want the streamer to be. Whether you want it to be short or long. So you take that piece and then fold it back and make a loop and stop with the loop at the point where you want this to be long. Place your pieces together and then take this back piece and twist it, because usually your ribbon is not the same on both sides so you want the side printed on to be always up. Make another loop the same size as your first loop, now you have two loops the same size, hold it in the middle and again you're going to twist this so that you have the same side up. Make one more loop back here, bring it to the middle, you want this loop to be just beyond the first one, twist it again holding it with your thumb and finger, make this loop just a little wider than that one. You can do this with any color of ribbon, twist it one more time and then you're ready to secure it. Since this is a Halloween ribbon, I mean Halloween bow, I'm going to secure it with a black pipe cleaner. Twist it tightly, it doesn't look nice yet, but it will, it 's kind of a mess but that's OK. Remember, you're stronger and smarter than the ribbon. And then you're going to cut it to the length you want it to be. OK, once you've done that you can twist it, get the printed side out so that it will look really nice, fluff up your bow, and then in order to turn it into an honest to goodness Halloween bow these wonderful little inexpensive rings are great. We can use a bat, a purple spider and orange spider, there are many different things, we have our little skeletons here. But if you take one of the rings and just cut it then it will simply slip right over the center of the bow and it will be secured. Then all you have to do is play with the ribbon, maybe crunch it up a little because after all it is a Halloween bow, or make it look nice. It depends on what you want to do with it. We could even add some of the Halloween pieces down the ribbon if you would like. So now we have two different bows for our Halloween centerpieces."
