"Hi, I'm Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to turn an ordinary human face into a cat face for Halloween. Now we are going to mix together our cold cream, water, corn starch and food coloring to make some basic face painting make-up. First we are going to take three teaspoons of corn starch which is the equivalent to one tablespoon. It doesn't have to be exact because chances are you are going to end up adding a little bit of corn starch at the end. And then one and a half teaspoons of water. And this you will want to stir up until it's completely smooth and there are no lumps left. You want a real nice consistency with that. You don't want lumps in your make up. I am going to stir that in until it is just right with no lumps then we are going to add three teaspoons one and a half teaspoons I mean of cold cream. And it pretty much will fall right out of your measuring spoon. And we have that added in. And now we are going to stir the cold cream in until it is also completely blended. Again because we don't want any lumps in our make-up and also because we want the color to be distributed evenly. And then you blend your colors to get exactly what you want depending on what you are painting. When we are doing something like a cat face you probably want some orange for your tabby cat and some brown which is basically orange with a little bit of blue added to it. And maybe for the pink nose you put a dollop of red in. Just put in your food coloring until you get the consistency you want of the color you want. A little bit of blue and a little bit of red make purple. Stir it in. And if you are satisfied with it you are finished, if not keep measuring and mixing until you have the color that you want. And then if it seems to be a little to runny go ahead and add a little more corn starch to that mixture. If you add to much corn starch your mixture will be too thick and it won't smoothly go on your face. So if you start to put it on your face or your child's face and it's not smooth and going smoothly then just add a little more water until it does have a smooth consistency. You want it to be thick but not so thick that it clumps. No this looks like a real good consistency. It should be pourable. If it is not pourable it's too thick. If it's too runny it won't stay on your face. And then of course you want to clean up the mess. So that is how you make your very own face painting make-up. Good Luck."
