Halloween is a great holiday for fun and festivities the whole family can enjoy. Dating back to the 5th century BC in Celtic Ireland, Halloween originally may have developed on a day when the Celts believed that spirits could intermingle with the living, and so would dress up in ghoulish scary costumes and noisily parade around the neighborhood being destructive, in order to frighten away spirits looking for bodies to possess. Today, the Halloween holiday is more fun and playful with children and adults dressing up in scary Halloween costumes for trick or treating or a fun Halloween party. Many people carve Halloween pumpkins to make Jack-O-Lanterns, and also decorate with fake spider webs, bats, ghosts, and other ghoulish decorations.

"I'm Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts and today we are going to turn an ordinary human face into a cat face for Halloween. Before you can transform your own face into a cat face, you have to have a good idea of what kind of cat face you want to have. There are many different sources you can go to to find cat faces including matching your own cat if you have a photograph of your cat. I went on line on the Internet and I found many cat pictures. I found a picture of a black and white cat and I found some pictures of some Tabby cats. Another place you can go to find pictures of cats are cat books or cat calendars. Like I said, you can match your own cat or perhaps even a drawing of a cat. One thing you want to keep in mind, is your own skin color. I wanted to be the cowardly lion for Halloween so I went on line and found this photo of the cowardly lion and with a little bit of trial and error and patience my face became a cowardly lion face and then I added a costume to it and I became the cowardly lion. You want to keep it simple if it is your first attempt or if you are dealing with children. So Tabby cats usually are simplest kind of cats to do especially if you have fair to medium tone skin. You do want to try and match your skin tone so you use the least amount of makeup as possible. So wherever you find your picture, find yourself a picture of a cat and get ready to turn yourself from a female to a feline. "
