How to Assemble a Scored Valentine's Day Box

"Okay, we're ready to adhere the box together. I like to use sticky strip. It's a double-sided sticky strip tape. Where the box is going to be adhered is at this seam right here. I'm just going to run a strip of sticky strip right across this fold where I scored there. Give it a little snip. The trick to getting this sticky strip up is to really push down on it first, because then you're able to quickly and easily pull the corner up. This stuff has a lot of static in it, so I like to have a piece of tape at my table so it can attach it right to that. Otherwise, it'll be on your shirt. It'll be on your table. You'll find it on the floor. You'll find a little bit everywhere. Once your sticky strip is in place, you're going to fold your box over, line up your edges, and just press it down. With this sticky strip, it is not forgiving, so you want to push it once. There's your first sticky strip. Now my box, it's really simple. Push the 2 side ends first and then the 2 larger ends. I like to have the last flap that I pushed down to the back. That way it's going to hide that last seam. Again, using the double-sided sticky strip. Place one strip right along that seam there, push it down real well, peel it up, and then just go ahead and line your box up, and adhere it down. Now your box is almost finished. The next thing you're going to do is go ahead and push in the 2 sides, and then just fold the flap over. There's the beginning of you box. The next thing we need to do is just go ahead and put some holes in it, attach ribbon, and fill it with goodies."
