"The first thing that customer needs to know when buying a car stereo is actually knowing what it is they want to upgrade on their system. Either do they want to have a radio that has an iPod ready? Do they want to have an equalizer, do they want more bass out of their system? With so many new stuff that they come out, also the Bluetooth. That's a new stuff they come out now. They want to know also the name brand of the unit, what kind of features that unit has. All those requirements are actually the best thing the customer needs to know before buying a system. Basically a head unit is a radio like this. It has a CD player, it has also AM and FM player. Some of them, they have this feature in which you can add three amplifiers. If you look at this, it has front, rear, and sub woofer. Also especially this unit right here, it has an iPod. It's a new technology that come out. So once you hook an iPod through it, automatically you'll be able to control it through the head unit. This is the latest they come out with. Basically that's what a head unit is. It plays the radio, and has a CD player."
