How to Make a Pilgrim Hat

"Hi, I'm Karina Fraley, for Expert Village, and we are making our pilgrim placeholders. So, for the hat we're just, again, going to take a piece of brown felt and wrap it around. You kind of want to keep an eye on where your eyebrows are - your pilgrim's eyebrows are - and that looks like a pretty good, (sorry), that looks like a pretty good width, like that, but I want it to have a little rim. So what I am basically going to do, is just take it, fold it like that, and then take some hot glue like that, run it along there so that I can fold the rim up and it will stay up. And then I am going to go ahead and pick up my hat, and just wrap it right above the eyebrows, like that, make sure that you're paying attention to where your little hat's going. And then you're just going to glue it on there, a little dot there, a little dot on the other side, will hold it down, nicely, like that. And then, you're going to want to go ahead and shape it, however you want. You can tuck it in, like that a little bit, and then add some glue. Just play around with it, however you think looks cute. I think I'm going to go ahead and add a couple dots of glue on the inside of the hat, like that, now that I've decided kind of where I want to fold it, and then I'm just going to fold it down, and it will hold it down, like that. And then I have my shape hat, and, as you can see, it's really, so simple. And then we're going to add the trim and the place card, and our little pilgrim will be done!"
