"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and tonight we're talking about Halloween safety. I'm going to share with you my tip that makes me very unpopular amongst the teenage crowd. I am very adamant about having a 'no teenager behind the wheel of a car on Halloween night' rule in my house. There are so many things that can go wrong with a teen behind the wheel as it is. I think putting them out on the road on Halloween night is just asking for trouble. There are many elements to add to the hazards of the road. There's drinking and driving. There are pranksters out there egging a car. An inexperienced driver could over react to something like that causing an accident. There are children running across the street back and forth, and you really don't want your son or daughter behind the wheel of a car involved in an accident. There are many other nights that they go out there and drive. Just make either a rule that they have to stay wherever their little feet can take them, or offer to give them a ride to wherever they need to go and then back home again. It's just not worth giving them the keys on Halloween night. "
