Supplies for Girl Easter Baskets

"In this clip, we are going to go ahead and make a basket for a little girl that?s a bit older. Now one thing that you have to know about kids, if you don't already know, if you are not making this for your own child, is that kids really like quantity when it comes to things like Easter baskets and party favors. They like to see a lot of stuff. When you are doing a basket for baby, obviously, they are not quite, they are not really as interested in the basket as obviously as the parents are. So, you don't have to really over stuff it. But I think it is a fun idea to make a basket for an older child really just to have stuff just coming out the sides and really make it look like it is very extravagant. Even though, it doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Defiantly you don't have to go out and spend a lot of money. So for this basket, I went ahead and chose a little basket, a basket that?s a little bit bigger. And I am going to go ahead and use the green grass again because I have a lot of pink going on otherwise. And I do want to balance some of the color off. So for this one I am going to put the grass more towards the front because I have a lot of stuff that I am going to want to fill the basket with. And if you put too much grass in, everything is going to start toppling out of the sides and it is not going to stay put. And you defiantly don't want that. You don't want to lose anything. You don't want anything going overboard. So go ahead and fill your basket with as much grass as you think you are going to need, depending on what kind of stuff you are putting in there. And then, gather up the things that you are going to fill your basket with and I am going to show you how to make a very nice balanced basket. I'll see you at the next clips."
