Now if your uncle has gotten sort of on in years that hasn't been really keeping up with the time technology wise. Chances are that he's still watching his favorite movies on the VCR if he has any sort of home video system at all. It might be a nice idea to go down to your local discount store or electronic store and pick out a very simple very user friendly DVD player for him. Now a days they are so reasonable priced you can find them as slow as $50 and I know they go up into several hundred dollars. But whatever you feel comfortable with in your price range just pick out something that is really easy to use so that he doesn't become intimidated. Then go and pick up a box of any sort of movies that you know he likes some of his favorite television shows, if they have some box sets of them. That will sort of get his collection started and then in the card write that you'll set a date to help him use his DVD player. You can make a whole day out of it you can go over hook it all up to his television, teach him how to use it and then take him out to lunch. It really is a fun way to get your uncle up to date on technology and to spend also some quality time with him. "
