"I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and today I'm showing you how to make a Christmas tree ornaments out of fabric. Now we have gone ahead and cut out little image or piece of fabric that we are going to use as our ornament. I used pinking shears to avoid any unraveling. Now I'm going to go ahead and attach my fusible webbing. It is going to give it a nice thickness so it does not flop around everywhere. So just go ahead and cut it a little bit inside of the edge. You can cut it down to size and you can measure. This fusible webbing actually can be bought at any fabric store. It comes by the sheet, by the roll, by the yard, however you want, you just decide how much you need and you go ahead and buy it. The manufactures direction is different and they very from manufactures to manufactures so go ahead and make sure that you just read the one that comes with your webbing. I would get a nice thick one. This happens to be shade, for shades so it is nice and firm. You put the gloss side down and just take a thin cotton just press cloth put it down like that and then you are going to set your iron on wool setting. Then just go ahead and hold it down for 15 seconds. You are going to move it around and this is very easy to use but you want to go ahead and make sure that you test it on your fabric if you have any sort of questions of whether or not if it is going to work. It does not work on all fabrics but I do know that it works on my cause I went ahead and test it before we started. So I take that off and this is a dry press cloth. So of them require to actually do damp so it can stain but this does not. So now that, that is done you see how much nice that stands up now it is not flopping all over the place like a thin piece of fabric would be. Now we are going to take our red felt and next part is very simple. I'm going to take my hot glue gun and be careful if you have your younger children who are going to be doing the glue gun. So the next thing we are going to do we are going to glue down the glue gun and finish the edges and see you at the next clip and I would show you how."
