"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make fun delicious gingerbread men. We now have an entire sheet of gingerbread people. We've decorated some with hair, we've got some stands in order to do some three-d cookies and we're ready to put them in the oven. And we're going to put them in the oven at three hundred and seventy-five degrees for about five or six minutes. You want to try and watch them carefully, they're already a nice dark brown color for the dough so you want to make sure they don't get any darker because you're not going to know they're burning. SO five to six minutes, let's set that timer at five minutes. Be aware of the temperature of your oven whether it runs hot or cooler and also if you're using a darker cookie sheet you want to keep it in for less time. If you're using a nice shiny aluminum cookie sheet, then they probably need to stay in for another minute or two. Also if you're using aluminum foil to line your cookie sheet it might take another thirty seconds or so even if it's on a dark pan. So you just want to be very much aware of how long the cookies are in here for. Now it's time to take our cookies out. They've been in the oven for about six minutes now and we want to take them out. We're going to let them cool for just a moment on the cooling rack before taking them off of the pan and let them finish cooling on the cooling rack. It's very important if you're going to decorate cookies to let them cool completely before you start decorating."
