"Hello I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to set your table for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Now I'm going to discuss the different types of plates that you would need depending on the different courses and foods you are going to have on your Thanksgiving day dinner. Regardless on what courses you are going to have for Thanksgiving you are always going to need a dinner plate. The dinner plate is the most important plate that you would have on your place settings and it is going to be put squared of the center of the place setting. Now the next plate which is going to be most Promethean display is going to be your butter plate. Even if you are going to have just one course it is still nice to have a separate bread and butter plate so that people can keep all of there bread out of the gravy. If they so wish. This is going to go to the left of the plate. Now if you are going to have a salad then you are going to want a salad plate. If you are going to have a salad course first you can set the table so that the salad plate is on top of the dinner plate. It is always nice to have a separate plate for the salad encase people don't want to have the dressing getting the the way of there other food. Last but not least if you are going to have a dessert course it is nice to have a separate plate for your dessert. Now this one is a little bit different from the other plates but you can always use a salad plate for a dessert plate or any other small plate. Chances are you don't want to have dessert on your dinner plate unless you have a very large selection of pies and desserts for Thanksgiving."
