"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make this delicious pecan pie. Now that our eggs has been beaten so that they are a nice uniform color we are going to add sugar. This recipe calls for one cup of sugar, you can just use the one cup to scoop out the sugar and then put it in the eggs. Now you want to beat the sugar and the eggs together so there aren't lumps of sugar by combining them thus, you are going to get a kind of a grainy texture of the eggs. But it's going to stay this nice pale yellow and once there aren't any lumps then you'll know that it's going to combine properly. With the sugar all mixed in now it's time to add the melted butter, you want to make sure that all that gets mixed into as the oil from butter (the fat) will not want to be mixed in with the eggs. "
