"Okay now it’s time to line everything up. What we are going to do is we are going to sew these actually inside out. So this is the side that I want on the outside and we are going to take, notice how we got all these squares here, we are going to turn it inside out. What we will do we will line everything up all nice and neat and if you have extra pens you can go ahead and use them. But we are going to sew around the outside here, trim off a little bit here and then we will flip it inside out to see how the final area goes. What you want to do is you want to make sure that we leave this top area open here because that is where we are going to have our stuff. All of our little treats and what nots go in there. You just go along the edge here until we come all the way around and you want to make sure that you tie these really good because this is a hidden stitch. If you want to go ahead and use an upholstery thread that is quite all right. Use something a little bit stronger or if you want to actually sew this part with a machine you can but still be careful when you are going through and there are a lot of layers here that you need to get through. This is kind of an up and down stitch. You don’t want to go around this area here because that will make it more difficult to turn inside and out but keep it if you can in a straight line far enough way from the edge. You see I’m going back in on the seam side and I just came up keeping everything flat, flat as possible. You want to do this around the entire length of the stocking and give yourself a little bit of room when you get to this curve part right here. You’re going to need it later because you are going to need to chip out a little bit here. "
