How to Sew the Loop to a Quilted Christmas Stocking

"In the interest of moving this project along a little bit, I am going to take you now to a quilt little stocking here that has been completed. This whole front side has been quilted together. You can see it looks very nice and now what we are going to do I’ve also added a little extra lining on the inside here and you can see that I’ve folded it in on the top and done a little bit of stitching on the front. This whole part is still loose and that’s okay because what we are going to do pretty soon is we are going to put the front and the back halves together and we are going to sew around the edges. First what I am doing is I am just finishing up my little back and you can see I’m also putting a liner in on this one and I’ve folded over the tops and I’m stitching in on the sides. This is the point where I am going to add our little loop we made earlier. What you want to do is take it and turn it so that it will hold real nice. Then what we’ll do is just sew these together and we’ll have a real nice loop all ready to go. You can just stitch right through here and make sure that this holds real good and we’ll be ready to put these together in just a minute."
