How to Use Spray Adhesive to Make a Christmas Stocking

"Now let’s take a look at the little spray adhesive area that I have set up over here. I just put down a couple of pieces of paper over my table here because you want to make sure that the spray adhesive doesn’t get on anything else. We’ve got our little fabric and you can see like I said it is going to pop back up a little bit but that’s okay. Now you want to make sure to shake your spray adhesive before working with it. You also want to try and avoid getting any of this on your fingers and that will be difficult unless you want to put on gloves or something but basically you want to make sure you just lightly spray and if it gets on the paper, that’s okay. Turn it around here. We want to make sure that we spray those little edges because we are going to push them down onto the other stocking part. We are going to do this with each of our little pieces here. So we will just take this and bring over to the other side here. See this is where the heavy book is going to come in handy too. We’ve got our spray adhesive down. Going to put this piece down and it doesn’t have to completely cover. Notice that there is some hanging off the edge here. That is quite all right because this is just a guide for our stockings and we won’t need leftovers anyway. See now that we have the spray adhesive you can see that it stays on there rather nicely and if some gets on the table, you might want to wipe some off right away. See, I sprayed that a little too much. All you got to do continue on and spray the rest of your pieces, grab your heavy book and put it on just to hold it down on there and it will be ready to go when you are ready to sew. "
