How to Make a Pattern for a Christmas Stocking

"Now that I’ve got all my little pieces cut, we are going to go ahead and make our little puzzle here. What we are going to do is take our little squares of fabric and we are going to line up my little pieces and notice how I am kind of alternating my pinks and purples here. That’s okay. This is a lighter pink next to darker pink there and that’s okay. Usually you can fit with this size stocking you can fit about 4 pieces per row so I am just going to go through and do that. Since I have 7 different little colors here, I can go through and alternate some of my pinks and purples so that I don’t have too many colors overlapping and not running into each other. I’ll put my nice little flower there. I’ve got my little stripe pattern. You can put that either way that you want to. It’s pretty much a good idea to go through and do this. Kind of lay them out in a different pattern and you don’t have to keep this pattern once you have it. Lay it out anyway that you want and change it later on if you need to. "
