"Hi this is John on behalf of Expert Village. Today I would like to talk to you about setting up a safe and fun firework display. The first thing you need to keep in mind with fireworks is to make sure there are no children in the area; that they are back at a safer distance. The next, no alcohol should be consumed before you are working with fireworks. These are explosives and they can hurt you or someone else. You need to also work with fireworks on a hard flat surface to make sure that they will be in a stable area for any ignition or lift off for the rocket. Avoid dry grass especially in an area where there has been a drought. You can start a major fire in no time with fireworks if you’re not careful. Also you will need to have water close by in case you do start a little fire some where you can douse it out with water. Next you need to make sure you do the fireworks outside. Some people think in a large building or a basement or somewhere or house, that you can do fireworks. This is a definite no no. Also, next you need to have a flashlight because more than likely you are going to be shooting fireworks at night and you will need to know where the fuse is to light it with your lighter instead of using the match. So you need to have a flashlight with you so someone can spotlight where the fuse is."
