"Hi! This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village and today we'll be talking about making our angel winged cookies. Now we're going to talk about starting off the base for our cookies. We're going to need 2 cups of white sugar. I'm just going to pour this in our mixer right here. That's one cup, 1 1/2, and now 2 cups. Set this to the side. After that, we're going to need 1 1/2 cups of soft butter. It's been sitting out for a little bit, so it's nice and soft. If it's not soft, it's actually not going to mix properly. Dump that in there. Each one of these sticks equals a half a cup, so we're going to need 3 of these. Our last one. After that, we're going to go ahead and start mixing this on low. It starts mixing around. We're going to speed it up until it's all the way mixed. You want to check on this. You want to drop it down. You can see there's still some sugar pieces left in the bottom. We're just going to put this back on and give it a good stir. When it's completely mixed in, we're going to stop."
