"So before I decorate there's just one minor step I go through which is just kind of cleaning up the surface of the skulls. After you, you know, mold them and you kind of let them dry a little bit, you'll see a lot of them will have just kind of an irregular edge of just some sugar crystals that are kind of out of place. And you can just, with the side of your finger, just gently kind of brush those off. And you know you'll find that these sugar skulls are pretty hard once they dry out and that's because the meringue powder does that. And so therefore, if you want to kind of clean up the edge and maybe kind of clean up some of the details around the nose or the eyes. Here you can see that this one's got just kind of, a bunch of sugar that's kind of out of place and I can make it look better by just knocking that off with my fingers. So really, I'm just sort of smoothing around the edge. It makes it more attractive and kind of... you know, once you do that then they'll really be ready to kind of start, you know, dressing them up a little bit with icing or little pieces of colored foil or paper or whatever you want to do. You can put names on them. So yeah, I'm just going to kind of clean these up. It's basically kind of like sanding, I guess. I'm just kind of knocking sugar off. I've got one more to do. And there we go. Now these are kind of nice. I don't know if you can see in the camera, but the details on these are pretty well defined. I mean I can see all the individual teeth, you know, the eyes, the nose here. There's even kind of a crack in the skull that was in the mold. I don't know if you can see it on the camera. But those details come out because I did use the fine grain, the extra fine actually that extra fine granulate sugar. So, okay, I've got eight sugar skulls here. The white ones... the pink ones are still kind of drying in the low temperature oven. So we'll now start talking about how we can start decorating them."
