I find that it's easiest to cut the little window after you've done all the folding for your tote, so that you can visualize where you want your window to be. I want to center the window in this little gift tote, right in the center of this, what will become the front of the tote. So, now instead of doing it like we did before, where we creased our fold, this time we're just going to make a very casual loose fold. We're just marking where that center place is, down the center of the tote. And we're going to cut a casual heart. Don't freak out about this being perfect. But, if you have a lack of confidence about your heart cutting skills, you can just, on the inside of the tote, use a pencil to draw or trace what you want, maybe trace a heart shaped cookie cutter, or something, and then cut along that pencil line. That will be on the inside of the tote. No one will ever see, and I won't give away your secret. But now, we've got a nice, heart-shaped hole. Now we just need to put a little bit of clear acetate over that, on the inside of your tote. What will be the inside, we're going to just tape some of this acetate. Now, this little heart that you've just cut, don't lose this, because it's an excellent pattern for you, to use to measure how much acetate you need, to cover your window. That should be about right. I'm going to tape this in place. That works right there. It doesn't take a lot of tape. Isn't this going to be cute? This gives a little window that you can have the colored tissue show through, or maybe your little present can show through. Fantastic. OK next, we're going to finish up this tote, and add some little handles to it.
