"Hi. I'm Amy Warkentien from Expert Village and I'm going to show you how to make a Valentines Day card that has folded hands. And I say folded because you're going to take your piece of paper, whether it's a construction piece of paper, purple, pink, red, white or I picked a nice looking piece of paper. $1 or $2 at the craft store. And I'm going to go ahead and fold it over. And obviously if a kid is going to do this they?re going to have smaller hands than me but go ahead and trace your hand but you want to let palm just barely go over the edge. And have it so that your fingers are next to the fold. So you go ahead and you trace it out. And you don't have to be perfect on it. In fact if you don't even want to use a hand and just guess at it that's fine, too. And then go ahead and take your scissors and cut it out. Sometimes I get a little anxious and I just go ahead and cut the whole thing out and then go back and do all of the, go all in between the fingers at the end. If you want to do that, too. And at the end we'll open it up and it'll show both sides of our hand. And then we'll continue to decorate it on the inside for our next step."
