"I'm Amy Warkentien, here from Expert Village and our first craft that we're going to do today is tissue paper stained glass hearts. And so I'm going to first explain all the materials that you need. You're going to need tissue paper, obviously. This I bought from the craft store for about .59 cents each. So it's not that expensive and you can probably get two or three hearts out of each piece of construction paper. I would get different colors. You could get pink or red. These ones have a pattern on it. This one has writing with flowers. This one has like little pressed flowers. Or if you're feeling extra cheap you could probably take tissue paper that you got from a gift and use that. It's probably going to be a little more tear-able. This is a little sturdier. Next you're going to want scissors. Absolutely, for kids you would want smaller scissors. And it's up to your discretion about how safe they're going to be with the larger scissors. Depending on their age or you could even go to plastic scissors. Safety scissors for those that are maybe two, three years old. Next, a hole punch. I got a pretty small sized hole punch. If you don't want to buy a hole punch, it probably cost about $6 so you could probably just use something to punch a little hole. We're going to hang these up so if you don't want to hang them up then you don't need the hole punch; also, a pencil for drawing out our heart that we're going to cut out. If you just want to free hand it you don't need the pencil. For hanging up our tissue paper stained glass hearts here is some string. If you aren't going to hang them up you don't need the string. But I bought some red string. You could buy whatever color you want. And also very important, you absolutely need a glue stick; something to stick our frame to our tissue paper. And with our frame we're going to use black construction paper or if you want you could use white construction paper, or red construction paper or pink construction paper; whatever would match your tissue paper. So, if you get all these supplies then you're ready to start your craft."
