Baking Tips for Sugar Cookies

"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to make sugar cookies. We are ready to put everything in the oven now. My oven is at three seventy five that is Fahrenheit not Celsius because that will be really, really hot. So I went ahead and made out some of my rather particularly shaped stars, they got kind of smushy. I got a couple of stars here and a couple of round cookies that I just dropped on here, these are going to spread out an inch and a half on each side. You want to make sure they are not too close to the other cookies or the edges of the pan unless you want one big giant bloppy cookie. With that my oven is nice and hot, we are going to open up our door and set them in the middle rack. I'm going to set my timer for eight minutes, these should take about eight to ten minutes to cook but you never know with your oven so I'm going to go ahead and do an eight minutes. I'll come back to check on it in eight minutes to check if they are okay but they may need another minute or two, but they might be fine in eight minutes. With that let us go wait for our cookies to be done."
