"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you some really quick and easy icing recipes and how to decorate holiday cookies. All right, with candy canes, obviously we're going to want to make these things white first, because that's our base color for candy canes. So we'll just take some of our thick white frosting. And like I said before, you want to try to follow the shape or the contour you are working with. So with this one we are just going to have to follow like this. Now, be careful and run our knife along the edges to eliminate any extra frosting as such. And putting it back where it needs to go, which in this case is up at the top. There we go, there's one looking good. So now we are going to take our detail icing the squeeze bottle stuff. And the thing people forget on candy canes is they'll start on one corner and they'll just start doing lines like this. Candy canes wrap around. So what you want to do, is you do a line like this, and like this. Oops, I missed a spot right there in the center. And that one goes the other way. They'll end up looking a little bit different, because that one goes this way and this one goes that way. My two candy canes. Now, if I wanted to now, I could take some of that green frosting I made earlier. Let me whip this around. Now on this one, see I've got this little detail issue here in the center, so I am going to make a little green leaf essentially right there in the center. Its a little depth and it kind of pulls away that there is no center in that cookie. And that one looks great so I'm going to leave it as it is. So that is your candy cane cookies, looking good, looking festive. Lets move on to the next."
