"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you some really quick and easy icing recipes and how to decorate holiday cookies. Next for our detail, I'm going to show you the difference in dealing with a small cookie and a big cookie. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take some of that red icing that I made earlier, and I'm going to make a 3D effect. And you always want to keep, make sure your icings stay nice and stirred, because the air interacts with this, it will actually start like getting lumps. All right, now that I'm lump free, we're just going to take a little bit at a time here, on the end of our instrument of choice here, and my choice is a fork. We're just going to make little bitty, it?s like a 3D effect. And you'll see what I'm talking about in a second, when I pick the cookie up and show it to you from the side. This is a good thing to do if you have a little time to let the cookie set up. Because as the icing hardens you'll get a really neat effect. There's that. And let?s go ahead and give it the effect of Christmas lights with some multi colored sprinkles. Now with our small cookie, we're not afforded the luxury of having as much surface area to work with here. So I'm just going to put some, this is an icing writer. Which you could use your own icing if you like. But I thought I would show you and easy way to do this with something from the store. If you make a mistake, it?s not the end of the world. It?s just a cookie you are working on. Not the Mona Lisa. All right, and so here you'll see I've got a cookie here with little red bulbs on it. It?s got a pretty neat 3D effect, but not nearly as pronounced as this one. You'll see this one has the little pink bulbs on it. You turn it sideways you'll see how it stands out. If you let this one sit and harden up, you'll have an excellent looking presentation with your cookies. So, with that lets move on to our next cookie style."
