"So now that we have selected our pen and flipped over our spider, we're going to start with the bottom leg and you're just going to take your hand and you're going to wrap the construction paper around your pen and roll all the way up to the body so that you have it folded all the way up here. Hold that in place for a second or two, let it unwind, pull out your barrel and just loosely open it up a bit. It's going to give you that nice curl effect. We're going to do that for all eight of the legs, so you're going to want to continue on to the second leg. Again wrapping your black construction paper around your pen and rolling all the way up to the body, pinching it in place, remove the pen and lightly uncurl your leg. So now it's really starting to look like it's going to be a cuff. Just repeat that process until you have all eight legs curled and that point you're ready to move on to the next step, we're going to start adding some features to our spider. Rolling and pinch, remove and curl."
