"When buying Hallmark ornaments on EBay, you want to make sure that you're very careful of who you're buying them from. The best way to know that is if they sell strictly ornaments. They know exactly what they are dealing with, and make sure that they're ratings are very high. I try to only shop with people that have ratings of one hundred percent. They may show you the ornament, and it may look fine, but when you get it, if it's not mint condition, your value goes down, and mint condition would be if there's a scratch on it or if a piece is missing. And as valuable as the ornament, the box is just as valuable. If you receive a box like this, it diminishes the value of your ornament, so you can no longer say it's in mint condition, so that may be a question if they don't specify on that website or on that EBay ad, what kind of condition the box is in."
