"In 1973 Hallmark started putting out ornaments. The first year, they released eighteen ornaments. They consisted of glass balls, and yarn ornaments. The yarn ornaments sold for $1 to $1.50, and the glass balls sold for $2.50. In today's secondary market, those yarn ornaments are worth anywhere from $25 to $35, and the glass ornaments like these right here; this one is from the first year; are worth $125.
