Video Transcript

"Hi my name is Courtney on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip I'm going to show you how to make a heart person. We're going to start by taking a piece of construction paper and folding it in half and then we're going to take and draw half a heart, and we're going to do it on the edge, on the folded side of the paper. This way our two side of heart end up the same. We're going to cut out our heart. Next we're going to put a face on our heart, so we're going to glue down a couple of wiggly eyes and I have a small pom-pom that we're going to use for a nose. I'm using a marker, we're going to draw a smile and I'm going to give her some eyelashes. Now we need to add the arms and legs. We're going to punch a hole on either side of our heart and we're going to take a piece of yarn and tie it in each hole, those are the arms. Now we need to add the heart hands. I've taken and cut out some construction paper hearts and we'll need to punch a hole in these as well. Now we're going to tie the yarn around this one, now we're going to do the same to the other side. Now, we're going to do the same for legs. Now that we've added the legs and the feet our heart person is finished."
