"My name is Courtney Hester on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip I'm going to show you how to make a valentine card using a hand cutout. The first thing you 're going to need is a piece of construction paper and fold it in half for our card. Next your going to need a second piece of paper and you're going to want to trace your hand onto that piece of paper, or your child's hand. Once you've done that you'll want to cut it out. After it's cut out you will glue the hand down onto the card. You're going to fold the middle two fingers down to make the "I Love You" sign. Then we're gonna want to take a heart, or a piece of paper, and you can free hand a heart or if you have a stencil, you can trace the stencil, and you'll want to cut that out. Once you have that cut out, we'll clue the heart onto the hand, and then we're going to make a marker and we're going to write a message on the heart, and then the cover of your valentine card is ready."
